Sitting pretty: Jennifer Aniston told Drew Barrymore on Monday while at the Paramount Theater in Los Angeles that playing Alex on The Morning Show has been better for her mental health than years of therapy

Chilling in style: During a chat with Drew Barrymore at the Paramount Theater in Los Angeles, Jennifer Aniston shared that portraying Alex on The Morning Show has done wonders for her mental well-being, surpassing the benefits she gained from years of therapy.

Don't care: The ex of Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux also said she does not care what people think of her playing an aggressive women on the Apple TV+ show because she no longer gives a 'rat's ass' about judgments

Jennifer Aniston, the former partner of Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, shared that she is not bothered by people’s opinions of her playing a fierce character on the Apple TV+ series. She mentioned that she no longer cares about judgments, expressing a lack of concern for what others think.

The second season of The Drew Barrymore Show began on Monday, where Drew Barrymore asked Jennifer Aniston about her role in The Morning Show. Barrymore praised Aniston’s acting performance in the series and inquired about the inspiration behind her portrayal.

Aniston explained that her role in The Morning Show allowed her to confront and address certain unresolved issues and aspects of herself that she had previously ignored. She described the experience as a form of therapeutic release, surpassing the benefits of traditional therapy that she had undergone for many years.

The character: Drew asked Jen: You know The Morning Show, what are you channeling in that because it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever seen as an actress and in your body of work? Jennifer replied: 'It was basically about just revisiting some of the shadows, blind spots that I put into a particular file and meeting them head on and actually releasing them'

Therapy: And the We're The Millers star also said it was like 'an extraordinary therapy, better than any actual therapist that I’ve been going to for years on end'

Counselling: The star of We’re The Millers described acting as a form of therapy that surpassed any sessions with an actual therapist. She found it liberating to tap into emotions she had repressed, allowing herself to experience the release of screaming and letting out pent-up frustrations in front of a large crew. In the past, she struggled to express her emotions in this way, preferring rational discussions over confrontations. She realized that bottling up her feelings only led to shutting down emotionally, while letting them out through acting brought a sense of relief and catharsis.

Jen's role: When Drew asked if Levy 'is the closest character to you or that you’ve blessed it with some of your deepest truths' Jennifer said it’s a little bit of both. 'Alex Levy is people, someone maybe in particular, who I have witnessed in my life,' said the pinup

Jen’s character on the show: When Drew inquired about whether Levy is based on herself or if she infused some personal truths into the character, Jennifer responded by saying it’s a mix of both. She explained, “Alex Levy represents someone, maybe even someone specific, who I’ve come across in my life,” said the actress.

Making some extra coin: Aniston has just launched her LolaVie hair care line

Aniston recently introduced her new hair care line, LolaVie, as a way to make some extra money. She expressed feeling like she has reached a point in her life where she doesn’t care about others’ opinions. “There is a certain freedom that comes with age where you just stop caring,” she shared. Her friend Drew Barrymore chimed in, expressing gratitude for Aniston’s openness as it resonates with many. The conversation also touched on their mutual friend, Adam Sandler, with Aniston having collaborated with him on films like Just Go With It and Murder Mystery, while Barrymore and Sandler have worked together on The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.

The Sandler connection: Drew then said there was a Twitter debate about who is a better partner for Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston or Drew Barrymore? Jennifer said, 'Oh well that’s a no brainer. There’s the phrase the guys like to say bros before hoes. Drew: 'Oh my God I was going to say hoes before bros'
